Fantasy for Breakfast
I’ll get to the Fan Art Contest in a minute. Honest. In the meantime, I wanted to post this fun thing google alerts showed me, a French fantasy review blog called Fantasy au Petit-Dejuner, AKA Fantasy for Breakfast. The reviewer films short videos of his review, showing the books next to his brekkie. He is speaking way too fast for my high school French to keep up, so I can’t tell you what his review is like, but the food on the table is making me hungry:

Ooooooh! I love this blog, and the webmaster is really kind (he added me on Facebook)!
I like this review, and if you want to know what he is saying, he really likes it, he compare you to Neil Gaiman. He loved the action scenes, and the characters, especially Arlen. He loved the rythml of the book, and it’s why he was a little disappointed when the story of Leesha begins, because he thinks the begginning of the book is awesome in action, and very exciting, and the story of Leesha is slow paced.
He thinks there is some “clichés” in the book but that the quality of the rest of the book compensate them.
I think he tells too much of the story at the beginning of the review, he should have let the readers the surprise of a lot of elements, but the rest of it is really cool (appart that he is saying you are from England :-p and keep calling you “Peter V Brent” )

Never guess that a french review would be shown on foreign website.
By the way, sorry if I tell too much of the story but you have to forgive my unstoppable excitement and my bookseller’s habbits. I had to tell the world that the scene where Arrick sings for the young Rojer is beyond everything. Loved it.
