Voyager 15th Anniversary Trailer
2010 marks the 15th anniversary of my UK publisher, the Voyager Books imprint of Harper Collins UK. To commemorate the occasion, they put together this awesome animated video showcase of this year’s most exciting books, including the best of the lot, The Desert Spear! Check it out:
I am off today to visit every major bookstore in Brooklyn and Manhattan to sign shelf copies of The Desert Spear, which releases TODAY!!!
While I am off gallivanting, please enjoy this (spoiler free!) interview I did on The Desert Spear with Simcha at SFF Chat. It’s seriously one of the best interviews I’ve ever done. Simcha’s questions were thoughtful and detailed without giving away secrets that might lessen the plot. I hope you like it. You can see the interview here.
Brilliant trailer! Thanks for posting it! 🙂
Good luck today!!! 😀
Peter,
First off let me say Warded Man is one of my favorite books. I discovered you through my mother kymomma and my sister netta on journalscape.
I knew Desert Spear was to be released today, so I called Barnes and Nobles to see if they had it. I asked them to hold a copy for me. I buzzed to B&N to pick up my copy, but wanted to see if they had it displayed. I looked and looked and looked to see if I could find Desert Spear… and finally asked the clerk to help me find it so I could take a picture of it on display (to send to you). Sorry to say, there were no copies displayed… but am very happy to report they are sold out of your book!!
Congrats Peter… you are truly a very talented writer!
I am now off to devour Desert Spear!
Hi Peter,
One of your australian fans, responsible for clearing
‘Desert Spear’ off the local bookshelves. I have been champing at the bit to read the sequel to Painted Man, taunted by the blurb on its inside cover promoting the Desert Spear, and a suggested release date of August 09….but it was absolutely worth the wait. Could not put D.S. down, and devoured the book in 3 days….now not sleeping in anticipation of the next book!
You write a fantastic, rich, fast spaced story, and I think you should stop eating, sleeping and playing with your children, and finish the series (….kidding..)

They’ve got Blake up there too. . . and A Dance with Dragons? Uh. . . is that coming out soon?
