The Daylight Tour: U.S. Tour Dates
After months of planning behind the scenes, I can finally begin to share details of my upcoming tour to promote the release of The Daylight War.
Some of you may be excited to find I am coming to a place near you, and I hope to get to meet, sign books for, and talk to as many of you as I possibly can.
Others will perhaps be disappointed to discover I am not coming to an event near you. Please do not take this personally.
Planning a book tour that spans multiple countries and continents can be, as you can imagine, quite difficult. Due to my writing obligations and need to be an active parent to a pre-schooler, I have only a limited amount of time I can devote to touring, and thanks to my very good fortune of being published in 21 countries spanning five continents, it is simply not possible to visit everywhere without the aid of Santa Claus.
My publicists in the US, UK, and Germany have been working very hard, taking into account budgets, distance, local reader/bookseller interest and February weather to try and find the best use of the time I could give.
If you will not be able to make one of my US tour stops but would still like a signed book, have you considered asking Meg to send you a signed Demon Cycle bookplate? The cost is on us.
Check out the schedule for the US/Canada Tour leg below. In the next few days we will post dates for the UK and Germany. Later this year I hope to visit Australia and possibly another country as well.

Bummer! No DC area tour dates. While I will miss seeing you, I will take comfort in my signed ARC of the Warded Man. 🙂 Best wishes on your new book and tour.
Hey, that Barnes and Noble in Minneapolis is my local B&N, only a couple of miles from where I live…
Salt Lake always gets screwed. Ah well. Hope I can catch you at a con in the future.
Looks like Huntington Beach CA is the closest venue to me. I may have to make a trip down there, unless you add an L.A stop. California in February is awesome, enjoy your tour!
No love for the middle of the county? I’d love to see a St. Louis stop added.
Color me NOT surprised that you don’t have a stop in Hawaii. Actually, as far as I can tell, with Borders shutting down, the only bookstore left on the island is a single B&N in the Ala Moana mall.
I’m sure the exclusion of Hawaii as a travel stop wasn’t Peat’s idea. 😉
I’ll see you at Huntington Beach!
What! No visit down under? You have Australian fans too!
San Diego! Yes!
Looking forward to the release….might have to find a way to get it into the curriculum….
I agree with #3, Salt Lake is not exactly a hot spot. (Though we get very regular Brandon Sanderson signings.)
I’m tired just looking at that schedule. You’ll be living on a plane or train and have just enough time to change your clothes. I’m sure Peter would have LOVED to visit Hawaii. I’d have been right there with him.
Any heads up on when the UK tour dates go live?
UK dates will post Monday morning.
Off to London tomorrow to get tickets for London signing
NOOO!!! you are finally coming to Detroit and I’m stuck in China for 2 more weeks. The same thing happened when Terry Brooks came Michigan, a few years back. Please tell me that you will try to make a trip back to the Mitten State?
Hi Peter, are there still plams on coming to Australia this year? Since its not Gold Coast / Melbourne (Jim Butcher is at Gold Coast and Melbourne this year), is it safe to assume it will be Brisbane / Adelaide in November? Fimgers crossed.
