NYCC 2013 – Saturday
Saturday at NYCC was full of superhero battles, panels, book signings, and amazing fan gifts.
Lauren ready to go and kick some serious ComicCon butt in her homemade Ms. Marvel costume.
After noticing several inconveniences of the outfit on the way to the con, like her hair sticking to the mask, I started the #superheroineproblems hashtag.

Excited to be a Myke Cole’s Geek Geek Revolution panel Saturday morning.
After loosing last year, Myke was relieved to be second to last … mostly so he didn’t have to wear a too-small Jar Jar Binks mask …
Watch the whole Geek Geek Revolution panel on YouTube! It is full of nerdy joy.
Some fans caught us after the panel to show off this amazing warded shirt.
Lauren’s sister Ilyssa showed up looking all Trekkie.
Along with her nephew Jason, who sidekicked as Nightwing for the day.
Stopped by the Graphic Audio booth and signed all the things.
Then I ran over to Walter Simonson’s signing and totally went stuttering fanboy on him.
I chose with great care the comics I asked Walt to sign.

‘Lil Firestar won the con.
My afternoon panel centered on monsters, zombies and other things that go bump in the night. I managed not to make a TOTAL fool of myself.

Crowded post-panel signing.
Overwhelmed with generous gifts from incredible fans after the panel.
Amazing warded T-shirt from Mia.
Incredible warded bead box by Alexandra Hilbert.
I got to fix Alexandra and her brother Andrew’s Warded Man covers.
