What do You Call a Group of Clay Demons?
A scene called for me to name a group of flame demons, and I forgot the collective term. I had to look it up in my author’s appendix, at which point I noticed a gap in my nomenclature:
Coreling: A generic group of corelings is called a Host. Specific groups named depending on species:
Wood demons are a copse
Wind demons are a flight
Flame demons are a blaze
Water demons are a wave
Snow demons are a blizzard
Sand demons are a storm
Clay demons are a…?
Rock demons are a quake
Field demons are a reap
What in Everam’s name will I do when faced with writing about a group of clay demons?
Well, I wiIl come up with a name for them… unless someone does it first.
Anyone got an idea? Make suggestions in the comments. If I use it, I’ll send you a signed Warded Man and a set of dice!
