If you haven’t already heard, the Warding Contest is in full swing and our inbox is crowded with entries. From hands to authors to cats, folks are warding everything! Check it out:
Kristin submitted a picture with a couple friendly faces:
For my entry I have selfishly warded a couple of my favorite authors with unsight, light, and prophecy. I figure that way you can all write deep into the night without fear of detection or even need of electricity. I have no reason why I warded the moon, it just looked cool.
Alexander decides to go classic with his warded arm:
Simon created a whole backstory for his entry:
When the bandits attacked their caravan, the sisters Alyah and Xanthe only just got away. Their uncle Kane was shot by an arrow giving them his personal ward kit. They didn’t even see what happened to their mum and dad in all the confusion. Alyah had her bow and Xanthe had her sketch book (which she was never far from) but that was all they had. Being caravan kids they had a better chance than some of surviving the night but now they had demons to fear during the day as well.
Jannick has taken on a feline demon to ensure his entry:
I hereby send you proof of Warding a little part of Belgium against those nasty Demons. Perhaps I’ve set the bar too high for my first effort in Warding and I should’ve gone for something less tricky, but after a little struggle and some scratches, El Kitty has been Warded.
