Warded Wednesday: Pet Demons Winner!
Posted by Karen
Hey everyone! This was one of my favorite Warded Wednesday questions. Like I said in last week’s post, I’d really want a lightning to power all my tech, but I think a lot of your answers were better.
Once again, the selection was random. This week’s winner gave their answer a little twist…
I live in a desert, and as you might suspect it can get pretty hot here. Cooling a house can get very expensive. Now you might expect I would want a snow demon. One might think that a wise choice, however, they only show up in cold climates and I don’t fair well in the heat. Sure, my neighbors have come up with some ingenious, if expensive, solutions to this problem. Transporting them in warded igloo coolers, insulating an entire room with expanding spray foam insulation then carving wards in there, and finally, a warded duct complete with fan to channel the air to the rest of the house. Who has that kind of money? Not me. I chose the smarter, and more budget friendly option, of flame demons. They love the heat of the desert, in fact, they thrive in it. Also, I happened to learn a fantastic, unique ward from Silvy Bales that turns flame spit into a blast of cool air! Can you believe it?! It has changed my life, and it’s portable! – Ian
Congratulations, Ian! We’ll be contacting you shortly about your prize.
Our next Warded Wednesday is TOMORROW. In the meantime, we’d like to give a shout-out to some other creative entries:
Without a doubt, a flame demon. Canadian winters get cold and with a flame demon as a pet, that would no longer be an issue. -Benjamin
A mind demon, because then I can get him….her…..it to do my homework while I do fun things. -Thomas
A rock demon!
I would then get him to encourage.Peter Brett to finish the Core as I seriously cannot wait a second longer for the next installment! -Clare
Definitely a wind demon ?
I could travel anywhere in the night sky. And I could use it as a cooler too in the hot summer nights. Flap the wings to send cool air. -Istvan
