Tim Henriques put up this review of The Demon Cycle (1-4). Check it out!

This is a really interesting rating system. Thanks so much to Tim for sharing it with us and putting up this review!

  1. Sorry, I disagree. Compares this series to Harry Potter? Game of thrones ( which will never be finished and most people know because of television!) Amd Star Wars? Bah! You just can’t compare a screne series (‘EPIC’) to a book series! He has a problem with “no swords” in fantasy?; were there swords? It’s so Ludacris! I never learned that sort play was a prerequisite for a fantasy novel! He thinks the magic system is over done? This is no Harry Potter.
Overall, the series is given a fairly decent rating. Up it To a 95+ and I’d be a lot happier. I could say so much more, but anyone who has read the series knows that it is excellent. I’m not anybody important or well-known. I am a teacher and an educated reader. ( yes I’ve read Shakespeare, and every other genre of books you can think of.) This review in no way prepares the reader for new and different world, unique magic system, exciting characters and the pure excitement of waiting for the next book! This is a lack luster review of books more people need to know about and read. The review doesn’t leave me wanting to read your books. And I’ve read them, several times very happily. And I will buy your next book the first day it comes out. Your books are unique and excellent. Keep up the good work! (Please excuse the grammatical errors, I actually can write correctly, I have a broken right shoulder and I’m using voice to text and my non-dominant hand and it’s much more difficult than it should be! )
