Hey everyone! Hope everyone is staying cool, because the weather just went from too cold to too hot over here! Seems it’s already time to be thinking of air conditioners and trips to the local pool. Of course we all know Water Demons love to lurk around, waiting to snatch us up while we escape the heat.
What a fantastic Water Ward tattoo! With sleek lines and that gorgeous color, it’s sure to fend off any water demons that are thinking of having a human snack!
Amazing tattoo, Z, thanks for sharing!

Hey everyone! Wow, it’s been awhile since we’ve done one of these, so there’s a bunch to catch up on.
Lets get started! First up is a series of 5-star reviews/recs from Allison Fisher:
Tim Broekhuizen managed to get his hands on a rare first edition of The Warded Man, which is awesome. Hit us up, Tim, if you’d like us to sent you a dust jacket with the Larry Rostant art (if we haven’t already)!
This neo-cubist Arlen was put up by LoOt on Twitter. Check it out:
There are just a few of the fantastic Tweets we’ve received! Hopefully it won’t be so long until we show more off 🙂
If you tweet about the Demon Cycle you may see your tweets in the next roundup!

Hey everyone! I’m so excited to show off a new video review.
This one comes at us from Der Buchschnack aka The Bookstreak. Der Buchschnack is a co-run Youtube channel by Steffi and Sandra.
I feel like it’s been awhile since someone’s done a review of Das Lied Der Dunkelheit (The Warded Man). It’s always awesome to see that there are still people just getting into the series– and what a pleasure to see such a awesome book-fan doing the review!
It’s times like this, I wish I could speak German. As it is, we’re just thrilled to have people showing their support for Peat’s books overseas.
Yesterday we took a little break from Demon Cycle content to take a look at a cool portrait of Peat himself. Today we’re going back to the characters we all love! Coming in to steal away the attention for herself is this beautiful Inevera illustration, made by Vivaria on Instagram!
What a gorgeous piece! I love the details of the bones in the backgrounds and Inevera’s jewelry. The way you made her veils seem transparent is super impressive! Great job!

Hey everyone! Today we have a little something special to show you. A gorgeous, stylized portrait of Peat, done by the accomplished artist Lar DeSouza, in the style of the fantastic Doctor Seuss.
This piece was commissioned by David Wohlreich and was the highlight of the week. Take a look!
Awesome, right? Well it’s something you can get for yourself too! Lar is hosting a fundraiser where people can commission portraits just like this. The proceeds of these Dr Seuss-like illustrations go straight to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada!
If you also want to donate to charity and Seuss-ify yourself in the process, you can check out Lars commission information here.
